The mostly silent, bumbling idiot Mr. Bean (Rowan Atkinson) leaves dreary London behind for a glamorous vacation on the French Riviera. That's the plan, anyway. When he arrives in Cannes, however, Bean is mistaken as both a kidnapper and a highly regarded movie director and must use his wits to get out of many sticky situations. Which is, for him of course, impossible.
