NASHVILLE - Dwight Yoakam, celebrated worldwide as a singer/songwriter and exponent of the "Bakersfield Sound," received special recognition for his contributions to Country Music, as representatives of CMA and the BBC presented him with CMA's International Artist Achievement Award during pre-televised festivities leading up to "The 41st Annual CMA Awards" Wednesday at the Sommet Center in Nashville.

ImageAcclaimed singer/songwriter Richie McDonald has just released his first solo CD, "If Everyday Could Be Christmas," on Loremoma Records (pronounced Lo-Re-Mo-Ma). In early 2007, McDonald announced his departure as lead singer for the multi-platinum recording group Lonestar and has since been busy gearing up for a solo career.

San Antonio, TX (November 6, 2007) – Arrowhead recording artist Jeff Griffith and producer (and friend) Joe Stampley made a sweep of the Texas Hill Country this past weekend, appearing on radio, television and stage. They stopped by San Antonio’s 100,000-watter, Y100 (KCYY-FM) to debut Jeff’s current single, “I’m Your Radio,” on the Winston and Alice Show. They also visited with Jerry King on sister station KKYX-AM.

Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival Hosts Pay-Per-View Event

Nashville, TN (November 7, 2007) – Legendary songwriter Hank Cochran headlines the “All-Stars Night” grand finale of the Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival in Perdido Key, FL, Sunday, November 18.
