Rising Philadelphia Singer/Songwriter to celebrate new release with special
performance
Philadelphia PA (PRWEB) September 15, 2006 -- Perhaps you've heard the buzz;
it's been spreading like a swarm of hornets through the Mid-Atlantic region. Now
it's time for the rest of America to find out why music critics and fans alike
are talking about Kyle Justin. While his ever-expanding fan base in the
tri-state region are already hip to his talents and appeal, the release of his
upcoming CD/EP, "Kyle Justin Live at the Tin Angel" will give discriminating
listeners everywhere an opportunity to experience the one-of-a-kind musical
stylings of Kyle Justin.
Kyle's path to today's promise began with a
fascination with the making of music in his teen years. This passion propelled
him to Philadelphia's renowned University of the Arts, from which he graduated
after studying music composition and jazz guitar. Area music critics have
described him as "a true poet" who produces "engaging music". One reviewer
states that as an acoustic guitar crooner, "he is no John Mayer clone, instead
being closer in heart, soul, and smooth style to a Rufus Wainwright.” He has
been named a winner of World Cafe Live's "Cream Best of Philly Rising". His
songs have been receiving airplay not only in his home region, but also on
stations from New York to Los Angeles. His style is all his own, combining
elements of pop, rock, folk and blues. All such influences are evident on his
new CD, which was recorded at a live performance at Philadelphia’s famed Tin
Angel.
A party to celebrate the official CD release of “Kyle Justin Live
at the Tin Angel" will take place on October 7, 2006 at the very location where
the recording originated. The CD release party kicks off at 7 p.m. with a
stellar opening line-up including, Joshua Heard Park, The Sisters Three, and
Lili Anel before Kyle Justin himself takes the stage. The October 7th
performance is also the first of a busy season of appearances at East Coast
venues to promote his new material, giving fans an up-close-and-personal sense
of his craftsmanship and musical vision.
This event and CD are not
to be missed. On October 7th the future of this budding star will begin on the
Tin Angel’s stage at 20 South 2nd Street in Philadelphia. The show starts at
7PM. For more information or to buy tickets, contact the Tin Angel at
(215)928-0770, at www.tinangel.com, or visit Kyle Justin's website at www.kylejustinmusic.com.
