Beverly Hills, CA — The directors of "As It Is in Heaven," "Downfall," "The Sea Inside" and "Yesterday" — four of the five films nominated for Best Foreign Language Film for the 77th Annual Academy Awards® — will participate in a symposium on Saturday, February 26, at 10 a.m. in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Samuel Goldwyn Theater. The event is sold out, but a standby line will be arranged.
Mark Johnson, Academy Award-winning producer and chair of the Foreign Language Film Award Executive Committee, will moderate the symposium.
The popular annual event will bring together Sweden's Kay Pollak, director of "As It Is in Heaven"; Germany's Oliver Hirschbiegel, director of "Downfall"; South Africa's Darrell Roodt, director of "Yesterday" and Spain's Alejandro Amenabar , director of "The Sea Inside."
The two-hour session will include film clips from each of the nominated pictures and a question-and-answer session with the audience.
Those waiting in the standby line will be admitted beginning ten minutes before the event until the theater is filled. The Samuel Goldwyn Theater is located at 8949 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills.

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2004 will be presented on February 27, 2005 , at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland® and will be televised live by the ABC Television Network beginning at 5 p.m. (PST) / 8 p.m. (EST) with a half-hour arrivals segment.
