Nashville, TN (August 6, 2007) --During her recent sold-out tour of England, Americana/Roots artist Lisa O'Kane stopped by the BBC Radio 2 studios in London to record an interview/performance with legendary show host Bob Harris. Harris has called the performance, "absolutely superb," and urges fans to listen to Bob Harris Country on Thursday, August 9 at 1900-2000 (UK), 2-3 pm Eastern (USA). Lisa,Bob Harris, Kenny Edwards

Lisa and Bob are friends, and their conversation covered a variety of topics, including a recounting of their first meeting at the Americana Music Conference in 2005 and an overview of Lisa's new album. Also touched on were the quirks of touring, and the rewards - and challenges - of being a single mom while working "the music" full-time. Lisa and noted guitarist Kenny Edwards (Stone Poneys) performed "It Don't Hurt" and "Misery And Happiness" on the spot, while Harris spun "Ain't Done Nothin'" from O'Kane's upcoming CD, IT DON'T HURT (New Light Entertainment/Universal).

August 9 through 15, fans can enjoy the show again online at: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/bobharriscountry.
