A new feature in ANIMACOR'07 will be the organization of the "First Children's Story Competition", which will be used to select the five members of the ANIMACOR '07 Children's Jury responsible for awarding the Children's Prize for Best Television Series, consisting of 3,000 euros and a trophy.
Apart from the Competition, ANIMACOR'07 will be holding morning screenings for schools in the city and province of Córdoba; in earlier Festivals, these have proved very popular with children. There will also be film cycles as part of a series of Information Sessions intended for the adult public. These activities will be held at the Andalusian Film Institute. As in previous years, the Palacio de la Merced - headquarters of the Córdoba Provincial Council - will be the venue for workshops offering training in new animation technologies, run by professionals from Spanish production companies. After the Competition Section, the Andalusian Film Institute will also be screening a special "anime" programme (cutting-edge Japanese animation).
SECOND MULTILATERAL ANIMATION COPRODUCERS' FORUM ANIMACOR'07 will again be different from other festivals of its kind in holding the Second Multilateral Animation Coproducers' Forum.
