CMA SONGWRITERS SERIES WRAPS UP ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL YEAR WITH SHOWCASE ON NOV. 29 AT JOE'S PUB IN NEW YORK CITY

NASHVILLE - The CMA Songwriters Series wraps up their third wildly successful year with "CMA Songwriters Series Salutes the Groups/Duos of Country Music" showcase on Thursday, Nov. 29 at Joe's Pub in New York City.

Check out the great selection

Since 2005, when the CMA Songwriters Series began at Joe's Pub, the series has established itself as one of New York City's most popular, intimate nights of music. And Thursday, Nov. 29 (6:30 and 9:30 PM/ET) is sure to please with four of Nashville's most prominent songwriters taking the stage to perform songs they have helped make hits for some of Country Music's greatest stars including Brooks & Dunn, Lonestar, Montgomery Gentry, and Rascal Flatts.

The songwriters scheduled to appear at Joe's Pub include Al Anderson ("Every Little Thing She Does" recorded by Lonestar and "My Worst Fear" recorded by Rascal Flatts); Bob DiPiero ("You Can't Take the Honky Tonk Out of the Girl" recorded by Brooks & Dunn); Ronnie Bowman ("It's Getting Better All The Time" recorded by Brooks & Dunn); and Chris Wallin ("Something To Be Proud Of" recorded by Montgomery Gentry).

"This series has been enormously popular since it began, but 2007's themed shows have been especially well received," said CMA Chief Operating Officer Tammy Genovese. "Not only did the series sell out numerous times, but we also had nearly 1,600 people show up when the series was a part of "Joe's Pub in the Park" in September. We look forward to bringing these incredible showcases back next year to our dedicated and enthusiastic fans in New York City."

Tickets for the shows cost $20 each. For information about Joe's Pub or to order tickets, visit www.joespub.com or call (212) 967-7555 between the hours of 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM/ET.
