NASHVILLE, TENN. (November 9, 2007)-- Prolific songwriter Neal Coty, whose songs include Blake Shelton’s “Playboys of the Southwestern World,” Craig Morgan’s “Every Friday Afternoon” and Mark Chesnutt’s “She Was,” has re-signed an exclusive writer agreement with the Murrah Music Group, it was announced today by Murrah Music owner, chairman and CEO Roger Murrah.
Coty originally signed with Murrah Music in 1994. He was also the first songwriter signed in 2006 as part of a co-venture agreement between Murrah and The Bicycle Music Company, based in Los Angeles. He now returns exclusively to the Murrah Music Group.

“Neal is an incredibly gifted writer,” said Murrah, “and we couldn’t be more excited about the opportunities ahead as our working relationship continues.”
