(Nashville, TN) The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences announced the nominations for the 50th Annual GRAMMY Awards today and country music super duo, MONTGOMERY GENTRY have garnered their first nomination in the following category:
· Best Performance by a Duo of Group with Vocals for "Lucky Man"
"We are excited and humbled," said Troy Gentry. "We have won an ACM, CMA and an American Music Award, but have never received a GRAMMY nomination in our ten years of making music together. Receiving this nomination completes the circle for me and my recording partner and best friend, Eddie Montgomery."
"I am speechless," said Eddie Montgomery. "We are so humbled by this honor. We want to thank our families, friends, fans, supporters, and most of all, God who makes all things happen."
