August 2005 (Newstream) -- ANCHOR LEAD: “Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo” opens this Friday, and co-star Eddie Griffin is excited to be back in the action. Jon McNally has more. (:59)

SCRIPT: Lifestyles, I’m Jon McNally. It’s been six years since Deuce Bigalow practiced the art of desire in “Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo”. Now Deuce and his sidekick, played by Eddie Griffin, are back at it in “Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo.” Eddie, tell me a little bit about the character you play in the comedy.

CUT: (Griffin) “Deuce Bigalow” – well my part T.J. is a entrepreneur. He moved to Amsterdam and gets in a little bind and calls up his good friend Deucie, played by Rob Schneider, to come and help him out of a predicament he’s in.

SCRIPT: Eddie, this is your second pairing with Rob Schneider. How was it working with Rob again?

CUT: (Griffin) We had a wonderful time man. You know, me and Rob’s got a natural chemistry. A lot of people say it reminds them of Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor.

SCRIPT: Eddie, you’re known as a top stand-up comic. Will you be doing any stand-up comedy in the coming months?

CUT: (Griffin) Most definitely. The tour starts in September. So be on the look out, it might be in a city near you.

SCRIPT: “Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo” opens this Friday. That’s Lifestyles from Sony Pictures. I’m Jon McNally.
